Planting seedlings and caring for pepper plants

To grow pepper in open ground, it is necessary to properly prepare the place. You can not plant peppers after peppers, as well as after tomatoes, potatoes and eggplants. It is best to plant after onions, root vegetables, cereals and pumpkins.
Pepper likes light, well-aerated soils. On heavy clay soils with poor air access to the root system, it reduces yield.

Before preparing the soil, it is necessary to treat it against diseases and pests. To do this, use Metariz™ + Sporomax™ B + Sporomax™ T at 10 g / 10 l of water per 1 acre, or mix them with dry sand or other substrate and spread over 1 acre. After applying the preparations to the soil, it is dug up, milled, etc.
This soil treatment will make it possible to protect pepper plants from root rot, black leg and soil pests.

Transplanting

Pepper seedlings should be planted when the threat of frost has passed and the soil at a depth of 10-12 cm has warmed up to +15C.

When planting pepper, it should be watered with a prepared mixture of drugs: Sporomax™ T + Sporomax™ B + Floriz™ + Bover IM 10g / 10l of water. 250-300 ml of working solution is poured under each bush.
If possible, drip irrigation is applied and mulched. In the initial stages (2-3 weeks), watering is carried out once every 1-3 days.

2 weeks after the seedlings have taken root, pepper plants can be watered with an infusion of chicken droppings in a ratio of 1:10-15. 0.5 - 1.0 liters of diluted chicken manure are applied under 1 bush.

After 2-3 weeks, the amount of watering is reduced to once every 5-6 days on clay soils, and once every 3-4 days on sandy and light soils, so that the root system grows. With more intensive watering, the root system will be poorly developed and in the future the pepper plants along with the crop may lie down. At the onset of mass flowering and fruiting, the frequency of watering is increased to 1 time in 1-3 days.

Vegetation care

Pepper plants are strongly affected by bacteriosis, alternaria, botrytis and powdery mildew.
When the first flowers appear on the plants, they should be treated with drugs against diseases: Sporomax™ B + Sporomax™ T 10g / 8-10l of water + growth stimulator Aminorost™ 25-30ml / 10l of water + Izomax 2ml / 10l of water. After 2-3 weeks, the treatment of plants should be repeated.

The number of such treatments can reach 5 times per growing season. Thanks to biological components, it is allowed to process plants during fruit ripening.
At the first signs of damage to plants by bacteria, the affected plants should be thrown away and immediately treat the unaffected plants with Sporomax™ B + Sporomax™ T at the rate of 30g / 10l of water + Izomax™ 2ml / 10l of water.
The most common pests on peppers are spider mites, aphids, thrips, and mealybugs.

Against spider mites and aphids, it is recommended to use the insecticide Imexab™ 10g / 10l of water, against thrips - Imexab™ 20g / 10l of water.
Against scoops, use the preparation Bacitoxin 10 g / 10 l of water + Izomax™ 2 ml / 10 l of water.
