Improvement of yield and protection against post-harvest diseases
Harvesting in the fall is the most anticipated and pleasant moment for which the owners take care of their plants. During the season, there is a lot of work in every household, starting with planting, sowing, pruning or other work in the spring and ending with the collection of the long-awaited harvest in the fall. But the work does not end after harvesting, and by carrying out some operations, you can not only save the harvest, but also reduce the likelihood of diseases in the new season.
We recommend treating gardens and vegetables with Sporomax™ B biological fungicide 10 days before harvest. Sporomax™ B is a biofungicide for the prevention and treatment of fungal and bacterial diseases based on Bacillus Subtilis spores.
Such processing has a number of advantages, namely:
- increases the shelf life and preservation of the crop
- reduces the probability of infection of vegetable and fruit and berry crops with rot and fungal diseases during storage
- suppresses pathogens, which improves the phytosanitary condition of gardens and reduces the likelihood of their development in the next season
- thanks to the biological basis of the drug, it does not accumulate in fruits, which allows the use of Sporomax™ B in organic farms
Application rate of Sporomax™ B is 10g / 10l of water, to increase the processing efficiency and uniform coverage of the fruits with the working solution, it is recommended to add the adjuvant (adhesive) Izomax™ 3ml / 10l to the tank mixture.
The place of storage of the harvested crop is no less important than the care of plants during the season. Apples, pears, potatoes and other fruits and vegetables are quite often stored in special storages dug into the ground. Basements and cellars also often serve as storage rooms, but in each case, the phytosanitary condition of the room is important.
The storage of the previous crop could leave behind an infected room, phytopathogens calmly waited out the season and are waiting for a new crop. The most common diseases during storage include: rotten and fungal diseases. If you ignore the preparation of the storage room, a large part of the harvest can be spoiled.
For disinfection of storage pits, basements, cellars and the container itself, it is recommended to carry out treatment with biofungicides Sporomax™ T and Sporomax™ B before loading with the crop. The combination of two drugs significantly increases the effectiveness of the fight against pathogens.
Sporomax™ T is a biological preparation for protecting garden and fruit and berry crops from diseases and accelerating the decomposition of organic residues, based on the spores of the antagonist fungus Trichoderma harzianum. Trichoderma actively suppresses pathogens of plant diseases, due to the release of biologically active substances and direct parasitism.
Advantages of processing premises for crop storage:
- reducing the probability of disease development on fruits during storage
- disinfection of premises allows you to keep seed and planting material "healthy"
- obtaining whole fruits, even at the end of storage
Application rate of biofungicides for the treatment of premises is 10g / 10l of water, of each product.
WARNING! Trichoderma in the composition of Sporomax™ T has the ability to split cellulose, therefore it is prohibited to treat rooms where there are wooden floors, as well as wooden containers (boxes, boxes, etc.)
