What is sunflower inoculation, isn't it soy?

Sunflower inoculation is the application of bacteria and/or fungi to sunflower seeds to increase their productivity.

Inoculation is carried out with BioStim™ sunflower inoculant at the rate of 50 g per 1 sowing unit. This is a dry inoculant based on a graphite-talc mixture.

Inoculation is carried out directly in the planter during seeding or in a bag by applying the inoculant to the seeds and mixing.

Thanks to specially selected components (bacteria, fungi, phytohormones, etc.), the NPK nutrition of plants both from the soil and from fertilizers improves, the root system develops better, the resistance of plants to adverse factors (stress) increases, and the yield increases.

What is BioStim™ Forte inoculant for?

BioStim™ Forte inoculant is specially designed to be applied to the rows at the same time as the LCF during seeding of the crop. It mixes perfectly with LCF and is applied through applicators. Application rate of this inoculant is 0.15 l/ha.

Can inoculant replace fertilizers?

Fertilizers cannot be completely replaced. However, if necessary, it is possible to reduce the rate of application of nitrogen fertilizers by 20% and phosphorus-potassium fertilizers by 35% (up to 50%).

How much does sunflower yield increase?

The yield of sunflower seeds increases by 7-20% due to farm technology. It depends on the hybrid, soil type and climatic conditions.

Is it necessary to apply something during the growing season?

During the growing season, as a rule, correction of plant nutrition is carried out, but it is impossible to replace the main nutrition. For this, urea (5-7 kg/ha) is used, and magnesium sulfate is also added. MicroStim™ B trace elements (1.0 l/ha) are also applied to correct boron nutrition in the 6-10 leaf phase and in the star phase.

To increase the number of flowers in the basket in the phase of 6-10 leaves on the plant (up to 12 leaves), we recommend applying Aminorost™ (1.0 l/ha) + MicroStim™ PS (2.0 l/ha) at the same time as applying boron and fungicides To improve pollination and tying of flowers in the basket, it is recommended to re-apply Aminorost™ (1.0 l/ha) + MicroStim™ PS (2.0 l/ha) simultaneously with boron and fungicides in the "star" phase.

If the preparations are used once, then we recommend applying the preparations Aminorost™ (1.0 l/ha) + MicroStim™ PS (2.0 l/ha) simultaneously with the introduction of boron and fungicides in the period when it is possible to come in with the sprayer as late as possible ( closer to the star phase.

Such a measure increases the yield by 5-10% and increases the nature and oiliness of the seeds.

How to deal with soil pests?

To combat soil pests, first of all, it is necessary to apply soil insecticides. We offer soil insecticide Metаriz™ at the rate of 2.0 - 4.0 kg(l)/ha. It is introduced by spraying the soil in the fall under tillage. Can be combined with Micocell™ destructor application. In the spring, the Metаriz™ insecticide is introduced into the pre-sowing cultivation or simultaneously with the sowing of LCF in the row.

The peculiarity of this drug is that it is of biological origin and is effective during the entire vegetation period of the crop, and not 30-40 days, like some chemical insecticides.

What to do if sunflower crops are affected by mites and scoops?

The damage caused by these pests can be colossal both in reducing yield and seed quality.

To combat lepidopteran pests (scoops), we offer the insecticide Imexab™+ at a rate of 0.3-0.35 l/ha. The drug is applied both by self-propelled sprayers and by quadcopters.

It is effective both against all stages of larvae (1-3 ages) and against ovipositors (has a pronounced ovicidal effect).

Against ticks of all stages and ovipositors, Imexab™ is recommended at a rate of 0.4-0.5 l/ha.

To these preparations, it is necessary to add the adjuvant Izomax™ at the rate of 0.05 l/ha, for a good coverage of the plant and hidden pests.

How to deal with Sclerotinia?

This is a very dangerous disease that can significantly reduce the yield, and sometimes destroy it completely. At the same time, the quality of sunflower seeds deteriorates significantly.

We suggest using Micocell™+ at a rate of 1.0-2.0 kg (l)/ha.

This product is effective against sclerotia of white rot and against mycelium.

Apply the preparation in the fall under the main tillage, it is possible simultaneously with the Micocell™ destructor. This is the best way, because the remains decompose. Where are the sclerotia of white rot, and Micocell™+ destroys the sclerotia themselves.

In the spring, the drug is applied by spraying to cover moisture or in pre-sowing cultivation at the same rate (1.0 - 2.0 kg(l)/ha).

If sunflower sowing is carried out with the application of LCF in the rows, then Micocell™+ can be applied simultaneously with LCF in the tank mixture.

For effective control of sclerotinia (white rot), it is best to apply in autumn and spring.

IMPORTANTLY!!! Micocell™+ must be applied to the same field continuously, regardless of the crop grown there. In the first 2-3 years in the maximum dose, and then in the norm of 0.5 - 1.0 l/ha to maintain the number of bacteria and

mushrooms from the drug in the soil. In this way, we constantly destroy the causative agent of white rot and heal the soil.

We do not recommend applying Micocell™+ only to crops that are affected by this pathogen (sunflower, soybean, rapeseed), as it is necessary to continue to destroy the pathogen of white rot in a specific field.

What to do if soil herbicides are washed away or there is stress after applying herbicides during the growing season?

In order to reduce the risks of leaching of soil herbicides, it is necessary to add Izomax™ adjuvant to the soil herbicide at the rate of 0.1 l/ha. It forms a soil film much better, reduces the degree of leaching of soil herbicides and extends the term of action of the herbicide.

If the soil herbicides are still washed off, then it is necessary to apply Floriz™ anti-stressor at the rate of 0.5 l/ha during the vegetation of the plants. In case of severe suppression of sunflower plants, it is recommended to add Aminorost™ stimulator at the rate of 0.5-1.0 l/ha.

These products are also used in the event that plants are suppressed by herbicides during the growing season.
